I decided to make a site about Sean for two main reasons:

1.) I think Sean rocks. He's a talented guitarist who is serious about music and enjoys it. He has played in some of my favorite bands, and has exposed me to new music through the bands he joins.

2.) Frankly, I was bored when I started this, and felt like attempting to make a website. I only know of one other site dedicated solely to him which no longer exists, so I thought, why not? It gives me an opportunity to work on my HTML and designing skills.

How did I get the name of the site, you ask? Well, Sean is from Arizona, and that state is mostly desert (plus, I love the desert, lol). And Sean is a rock star in his own right.

This site began in early January 2003, and officially opened on February 6, 2003.

In January 2005, I bought desertrockstar.com and in August 2005 I redeisnged the site.
